Summary

Metal-detecting in 2019 and 2023 recovered Roman, medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; a Roman coin and a number of other, Late Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Late Saxon finger ring; Late Saxon to post-medieval lead spindle whorls; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories (including a medieval gold finger ring); a medieval mount and lead weight; medieval/post-medieval copper alloy rivets and copper alloy vessel fragment and post-medieval book clasps, harness mounts, a sword-belt mount, candle snuffer, lead cloth seals and lead possible steelyard weight.

Late Saxon to post-medieval lead spindle whorls.
Medieval buckle, button, mount and lead weight.
Medieval/post-medieval copper alloy 'paper clip' rivets and a copper alloy vessel fragment.
Post-medieval buckles, buttons, hooked book clasps, harness mounts, a sword-belt mount, candle snuffer and lead cloth seals.

Medieval gold finger ring with gemstone held in four claws.
