Summary

The site of ditches and possible banks of unknown or possibly medieval date are seen as earthworks on aerial photographs. The earthworks have since been levelled and some of the ditches can be seen as cropmarks. The earthworks may have related to Medieval settlement and drainage. There are also two areas of possible ridge and furrow (NHER 62495 and NHER 62496) to the north, which may relate to these features and further suggest a possible Medieval to post-medieval date.
