Full Description
December 2018. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
Possible Second World War pillbox seen as a structure on aerial photographs (S1-S4). The possible structure may be a type 26 pillbox due to its size and square form or another type of defensive structure related to High Ash Second World War military camp (NHER 34704). The possible pillbox is no longer visible on recent air photos and is presumed to have been removed between 1975 (S3) and 1999 (S4) when the area is developed over.
J.Powell (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 11 December 2018.
