Summary

A possible Second World War pillbox is seen as a structure on aerial photographs. The possible structure may be a type 26 pillbox due to it's size and square form or another type of defensive structure related to High Ash Second World War military camp (NHER 34704). The possible pillbox is no longer visible on recent air photos and is presumed to have been removed between 1975 and 1999 when the area is developed over.
