Summary

Possible Second World War concrete blocks or small structures are seen on aerial photographs in the 1940s. The possible concrete blocks are seen as structures in March 1946, as concrete platforms in July 1946, and removed completely by the 1950s. The purpose of the small concrete blocks is unknown and they most likely relate to the High Ash Military training camp to the east (NHER 34704).

December 2018. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
Possible Second World War concrete blocks or small structures are seen on aerial photographs in the 1940s (S1-S2). The possible concrete blocks are seen as structures in March 1946, as concrete platforms in July 1946 (S2) and removed completely by the 1950s (S3). The purpose of the small concrete blocks is unknown and they most likely relate to the High Ash Military training camp to the east (NHER 34704).
