Summary

A pit with a surrounding mound of an unknown or possible Second World War date is visible as an earthwork on visualised lidar data. The earthworks are similar to other Second World War features mapped as part of this survey (such as NHER 63075) and it is possible this feature could relate to defence or military activity associated with Didlington hall (NHER 63067). It is also possible this feature could relate to extraction or a tree throw.
