Summary

A possible undated ring ditch is seen as a cropmark on aerial photographs. This feature may relate to a possible former barrow; however this feature could also be the result of geological or agricultural processes. If the possible ring ditch is archaeological in origin in it may be Bronze Age in date. The field has been subjected to peat extraction and is now under a body of water.

This feature may relate to a possible former barrow; however this feature could also be the result of geological or agricultural processes. If the possible ring ditch is archaeological in origin in it may be Bronze Age –Iron Age in date. The field has been subjected to peat extraction and is now under a body of water.
