Full Description
March 2019. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
A possible enclosure, ring ditch and ditches of an unknown date are seen as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1). A square enclosure can be seen in the centre of the area with a possible ring ditch to the west and a number of ditches on multiple alignments in close proximity. The features are in close relation to an area of medieval settlement remains (NHER 63236) to the south; however these features are more likely to be Bronze Age – Roman in date. The possible enclosure and ditches are partially obscured by geological and agricultural features and may extend further than the mapped extent.
