Full Description
March 2019. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
A group of banks and ditches of an unknown date can be seen as earthworks on the 1940s aerial photographs (S1-S2) and have since been levelled. The banks are on multiple alignments and may have related to either: Cranwich medieval settlement remains (NHER 63236) to the north, the Second World War military training area and camp to the east (NHER 63082), boundaries or drainage. The date of the features are most likely to be medieval - post medieval or Second World War.
J.Powell (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 6th March 2019.
