Summary

Two areas of possible medieval to post-medieval ridge and furrow are seen as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs and have since been levelled. The western area of ridge and furrow is in close relation to a bank and a separate ditch which may have related to either a headland or field boundaries. The two areas of ridge and furrow are aligned approximately north-south and may have related to possible medieval field boundaries to the south east (NHER 63239). Due to the position of the possible ridge and furrow in relation to the river Wissey, it is possible that these features may relate to water meadows.
