Full Description
March 2019. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
Three areas of possible extraction and a ditch, of probable post medieval date, are seen as earthworks on aerial photographs and visualised lidar data (S1-S2). The areas of possible extraction can be seen as three possible shallow or back filled pits and a small L shaped ditch to the north. These features may relate to post medieval extraction, however the possible features are not marked on Tithe, Frist or Second Edition Ordnance Survey maps (S3-S5). The areas of possible extraction are in close relation to two area of possible ridge and furrow (NHER 63237).
