Full Description
April 2019. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
A possible undated ring ditch is seen as a cropmark on aerial photographs (S1). The feature consists of a semi-circular ditch with a small possible interior ditch. It is most likely that the possible ring ditch is either natural or agricultural in origin; however if this feature is archaeological in origin it may relate to a former Bronze Age barrow or possibly a Bronze Age – Roman circular enclosure. The possible ring ditch is in close relation to possible roman enclosures to the east (NHER 63065).
