Summary

In 2009/2010 a pit containing prehistoric pottery was recorded at this site during the monitoring of groundworks associated with the installation of an underground cable.

Monitoring of topsoil stripping and other groundworks associated with installation of the Sheringham Shoals Offshore Windfarm Grid Connection cable.
A pit containing prehistoric pottery was recorded at this location.
The nature and quantity of the pottery recovered is unclear at present.
Final report awaited. See assessment report (S1) for further details. This work is also noted in (S2).
The associated archive has been deposited with the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 2017.361).
