Full Description
September-November 2008. Trial Trenching.
Evaluation of site on proposed route of Sheringham Shoals Offshore Windfarm Grid Connection cable (Trench 51).
Two parallel possible furrows were the only features identified in the single trench excavated at this location. These features and the subsoil lay present across much of the trench were seen as evidence for medieval open-field agriculture.

Monitoring of topsoil stripping and other groundworks associated with installation of the Sheringham Shoals Offshore Windfarm Grid Connection cable.
No archaeologically-significant features or deposits observed and no finds recovered.
