Summary

Archaeological work at this site between 2008 and 2010 revealed no significant remains. Trial trenching in 2008 had negative results and a watching brief maintained during subsequent groundworks in 2009/2010 also recorded no archaeologically-significant features or deposits. A Roman brooch was recovered during this second phase of work.

Evaluation of site on proposed route of Sheringham Shoals Offshore Windfarm Grid Connection cable (Trenches 68 and 69).
The two trenches excavated at this site revealed no archaeologically-significant features or deposits.

2009-2010. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of topsoil stripping and other groundworks associated with installation of the Sheringham Shoals Offshore Windfarm Grid Connection cable.
No archaeologically-significant features or deposits observed. Roman brooch recovered from topsoil.
