Map

(S1) describes these as a pair of grey brick semi-detached two-storey houses. Canted single storey bay to 'inner' side of front door on ground floor only, with flat window on the other side. Detailed stone framing round windows, all 1/1 pane sashes. Hipped slate roof with central chimney stack, another stack on slightly projecting rear element visible at side. Panelled door with console above on rather flattened scroll brackets, repeated on ground floor window. First floor windows symmetrically arranged over assymentrical ground floor. Large square stone plaque between upper windows: plain on Rosedale but with big TW or WT on Eskdale. See (S1) for further information.
These houses are both visible on (S2) and labelled 'Rosedale Villa' and 'Eskdale Villa'.
