Summary

This late 19th century detached two-storey red brick house standing in a prominent position on the corner between Goodwin's Road and Exton's Road was part of the surburban development known as Goodwin's Fields.

(S1) describes this as a detached red brick two-storey house under hipped slate roof; chimneys set in side slopes. White brick quoins and fine painted wooden rustic porch over central door. Canted bays, largely wood, either side of front entrance with scroll brackets; splayed white brick heads on first floor. 2/2 pane sashes throughout. Attached single storey to south added as dental surgery at an unknown date.
