Full Description
(S1) describes these properties as a semi-detached pair of villas; gothic details. Red brick, Flemish bond, with
carstone side walls. Shallow square bays with second floor window in gable above. Major windows have shallow arches of gauged brick filled with decorative hung tiles. Attic windows have segmental heads of gauged brick. White brick courses at window head level (now painted white) continuing round sides where entrance with shallow arched head has its own lean-to roof. No. 107 has peg tiles, No. 109 concrete. No original windows. Stack on party wall. No. 109 has an interesting wooden porch with Gothic details above which the entrance 'wing' seems to have been raised with a tiny triangular bay window.
These houses are one of four pairs of villas in this area that are visible on (S2).
