(S1) describes this pair of semi-detached houses as being akin to No. 111 Tennyson Avenue and 35 Extons Road (NHER 62848) but built in dark brown brick. Set back side wings; doors at side. Oversailing eaves and hipped slate roof. Front windows project forward slightly.
This property is visible on (S2).
(S3) describes NHER 62848 as dating from around 1860, and it is possible that this pair of villas may be of a similar date.
