Full Description
(S1) states that this does not appear on the West Lynn Tithe Map (S2). However, this building is in fact visible on (S2) and the apportionment describes Plot 64 as the Swan Inn Orchard owned by Edward Bagge and occupied by Rose Dyson. (S3) gives Rose Dyson as the licencee of the Swan between 1836 and 1856, and suggests that this premises was licenced from 1830 onwards.
The pub closed in 1998 and it was converted to a house.
