Map

(S1) describes this pair of two-storey cottages as dating from the 1840s and believed to have been built using a traditional Norfolk construction of rough stones and clay lump to form building blocks. These houses are not visible on the Gaywood Tithe Map of 1838 (S2), but they do appear on the first edition Ordnance Survey map (S3) where they are known as Rag Row.
