Map

According to (S1) this was built as a dual function building where a small sacred area could be opened up into the hall area for services to create the church, a not uncommon feature of small satellite estate churches of the 1950s and 1960s. It is of pale buff brick laid in stretcher bond, beneath a grey pantiled roof. There is an open bell turret at the east end of the nave with a small copper-covered spire, built to house a Lynn-made 17th century bell which has since been removed to St Margaret's church. This was built in 1956 as a daughter church to St Margaret's (NHER 1026) as a parish initiative to meet a perceived need on the growing North Lynn estate. Closed in 1981 and since used for a variety of community purposes. It is currently used as a nursery school.
