May 2014-January 2015. Geophysical Survey.
Magnetometer survey on proposed line of the Norwich Northern Distributor Road (Area H14).
This survey revealed no anomalies of possible archaeological significance.
Although numerous linear anomalies were detected these were all thought to be the result of modern agricultural practices. Many of the various discrete anomalies probably represented changes in the underlying geology, while others were most likely caused by the presence of modern ferrous debris.
See report (S3) for further details.
P. Watkins (HES), 7 July 2019.
