Full Description
1972. Listed Grade II.
Shop dating from around 1700 with mid-19th century façade. Two storeys and dormer attic. Rendered and colourwashed brick, slate roof. Late 20th century timber shopfront with door to left. Plain fascia board. Tripartite sash window to first floor under a hood on scrolled consoles. Parapet partly conceals gabled roof. One flat-topped dormer with sash window. Stack to west on front roof slope. Inside is an open string staircase flight with bobbin and stick balusters.

(S2) suggests this and No. 4 (NHER 47055) were a single brick house dating from about 1799 and divided into two shops in 19th century. These two buildings are listed separately.
