Summary

This was the site of St Nicholas' School which opened as a National School in 1869. It closed in 1939 when pupils transferred to Gaywood Park School. The buildings became a shoe factory after World War Two, and were demolished in the 1950s.

St Nicholas' National School was built in 1869 (S1). The school closed in 1939 when Gaywood Park opened. After World War Two it became a shoe factory. The buildings were demolished in the 1950s.
