Map

Before 7 April 2015. Stray Find.
Probable human bones found during construction of detached garage.
These remains were reported to the police and passed to an archaeological contractor, who confirmed that they were indeed human and unlikely to be modern. The exact nature of the assemblage is unclear, although it is known that several boxes of bone were examined, including an almost complete skull [1].
Further human remains were apparently recovered during subsequent groundworks at the site but no archaeological monitoring was undertaken [2].
