Summary

Metal-detecting in 2019 and 2023 recovered a post-medieval glass vessel; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; medieval jettons; a post-medieval token and a number of other, Roman to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Roman brooch, votive object and lead steelyard weight; a potentially Roman crumpled piece of gold sheet; Early Saxon brooches; a Late Saxon/medieval silver probable figurine in the form of a standing wyvern; a medieval spoon and finger ring and a post-medieval hooked tag and a spur.
