Summary

Metal-detecting in 2019 recovered two medieval/post-medieval silver coins at this location that are likely to represent either a purse loss or part of a larger hoard.

Medieval/post-medieval coin hoard comprising 2 silver groats of Henry VIII. These were found approximately 175m apart but in good condition, suggesting they were from the same ploughed-out deposit.
This hoard was submitted as potential Treasure (Ref: 2020 T65) but subsequently disclaimed and returned to the finder.
