Map

March-April 2020. Casual Observation.
Observed at the edge of a freshly ploughed field whilst walking.
Several fragments of a mosaic, presumably of Roman date. Two apparently adjoining fragments contain a portion of a black and white geometric pattern. Other fragments have grey tessera. Evidence of a line of debris in the field was noted.
Over the course of several days, three stone spherical balls were also observed in this location. These may be ballista balls. One was measured, with a 6 inch diameter and a weight of 200g.
