Summary

World War One memorial with World War Two additions, constructed from grey granite in the form of a freestanding, polished, Latin cross. This memorial was possibly erected around 1920, to commemorate nine local servicemen who died in World War One, and latterly four men who died in World War Two. The memorial was Listed Grade II in June 2018.

Location: Churchyard of the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Church Road, Repps with Bastwick.
Type: Latin Cross
Description:
The memorial is constructed from grey granite, in the form of a freestanding, polished, Latin cross. It is used to commemorate nine local servicemen who died in World War One, and latterly four men who died in World War Two. It is described as “on a three-tiered plinth with simple base” (S1). There is an inscription in incised and blacked lettering.
