This site was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the Norfolk Coastal Zone NMP, but not recorded. This record was written more than 10 years later, without access to the original sources, and therefore the information that can be included is limited, and the interpretation is more tentative than it might be otherwise.
An undated bank was mapped from aerial photographs by the Norfolk Coastal Zone NMP project. It lies alongside a curvilinear drain and may be derived from spoil from excavating or cleaning the drain. The line of the bank and drain is also followed by the parish boundary between North and South Wootton. It is not known whether the site was visible as an earthwork, cropmark or soilmark, and the specific photographs on which the feature was visible is not known. Whether the bank still survives is also not known.
