Map

April 2020. National Mapping Programme (NMP) Data Clean-Up.
This site was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the Norfolk Coastal Zone NMP project, but not recorded. This record was written more than 10 years later, without access to the original sources, and therefore the information that can be included is limited, and the interpretation is more tentative than it might be otherwise.
An undated bank was identified on aerial photographs. Its date, function and archaeological significance are uncertain; its proximity to a 19th century narrow gauge railway to its north (NHER 24222) suggests that it could be an associated feature. It is not known whether the site was visible as an earthwork, cropmark or soilmark, and the specific photographs on which the feature was visible is not known. The current condition of the site is also not known.
