Full Description
May 2020. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
A probable Bronze Age round barrow cemetery is visible as earthworks on visualised lidar data (S1). It comprises two bowl barrows (NHER 63630 and 63631) and a possible pond barrow (NHER 11522). The barrows are positioned in a linear arrangement orientated northeast-southwest, along a natural ridge or knoll. As it is clearly visible on the visualised lidar data, and the survey was flown relatively recently (2015), it is probable that the earthworks still survive.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 6th May 2020.
