April 2016. Geophysical Survey.
Magnetometer survey of proposed development area (Field 1).
This survey of the south-eastern corner of this field revealed no archaeologically-significant anomalies.
A broad north-west to south-east aligned band of magnetic disturbance corresponds with the former line of the Wymondham to Wells Railway (NHER 13588).
Numerous small, discrete dipolar anomalies are likely to have been caused by ferrous material in the topsoil.
