Full Description
This area, currently known as Lord Anson's Wood, was depicted as a warren on Faden's 1797 map of Norfolk (S1). However, by the time the area was surveyed for Bryant's 1826 map (S2) the area was marked as woods. It also appears as woodland on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map (S3), surveyed 1879-1886. The mapped extent of the warren is approximate.
