Summary

A trench excavated at this site in 2015 revealed no archaeologically-significant features or deposits. A single trench excavated in the yard of Manor Farm revealed no archaeologically-significant features or deposits. There had clearly been significant past disturbance, with natural geological deposits overlain by a sequence of modern make-up layers and yard surfaces.

Evaluation of part of proposed development site (Trench 1).
A single trench excavated in the yard of Manor Farm revealed no archaeologically-significant features or deposits. The site had clearly seen significant past disturbance, with natural geological deposits overlain by a sequence of modern make-up layers and yard surfaces.
No finds were recovered.
