Map

Possible medieval moat to south of All Hallows Farmhouse (NHER 30687).
Previously recorded under NHER 30687.

To south of house OS mark an L-shaped pond. In his diary for 3 September 1916 H. Rider Haggard recorded that Zeppelin bombs fell "…in the moat of the Nunnery Farm 40 yards from Ditchingham House Farm". This sounds very like this site, but of course is not certain evidence that this is a moat.
