Evaluation of proposed development site (Trenches 2-4).
The three trenches excavated at this location revealed two ditches, one clearly post-medieval and the other undated. The former was aligned north-north-east to south-south-west and produced fragments of post-medieval brick and tile, a post-medieval pottery sherd and a piece of clay tobacco pipe stem. The second ditch was a north-west to south-east aligned feature that produced no finds.
