Summary

A curving 18th-century wall at the north entrance to Paston School. It has square piers with stone cap and a wide pedestian door with a heavy frame, above which is a stone tablet commemorating the school's founding in 1606.

Listing Description excerpt:
"18th century, red brick, partly curved on plan each side, and with square piers with stone caps. 8-10 ft [2.43-3.04m] high. Stone tablet; above central wood wide pedestrian door with heavy frame, engraved "Sir William Paston's Free School founded 1606."
