Summary

A single trench excavated at this site in 2018 revealed no archaeologically-significant features or deposits. It is therefore likely that this site lies beyond the limits of the cemetery of St Clement’s chapel (NHER 10231). This is consistent with work undertaken to the west (NHER 39832), with the trench lying to the south of the projected line of a ditch thought to represent the southern boundary of the cemetery.
