Summary

This single-storey stable block dates to the late 18th-century. It has a gault brick façade, red brick returns and a pantile roof.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Stable block. C.1783, perhaps by Sir John Soane. Gault brick facade, red brick returns, replacement red pantiles to north, black glazed pantiles to centre and to south. Single storey, seven bays with three-bay pedimented centre and end bays hipped and returned. Each bay has a rubbed brick arch headed semi-circular window, widest over the central door..Stone plinth, stone platband forming imposts to arched openings, brick dentil eaves cornice to eaves and to pediment."
