A small ring ditch, perhaps marking the site of a Bronze Age round barrow, is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (S1). It may also be visible on photography from 2011 (S2). The cropmark is rather faint and poorly defined, so its archaeological significance is not certain. Its size suggests that if it is a genuine archaeological feature, it is most likely to represent the site of a Bronze Age round barrow. This interpretation would potentially explain the lighter crop visible within the ring ditch, which may indicate the remains of a ploughed-out mound.
