Map

October 2021. Aylsham and Brampton Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
Fragmentary linear ditches, probably representing multi-phase boundaries are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1-S2). The features most likely relate to former boundaries and possible field boundaries. Some elements of the site could date from the Iron Age - Roman period, while others may be of Medieval to post medieval date. Geological cropmarks are visible across the area and its possible that some of the features may be natural in origin.
