Summary

Trial trenching at this site in 2020 revealed no archaeologically-significant features or deposits. Concrete foundations exposed were probably the remains of military accommodation units associated with Old Buckenham airfield (NHER 9235).

Evaluation of proposed development site.
The six trenches excavated revealed no archaeologically-significant features or deposits.
Modern concrete foundations and services and a spread of demolition rubble were all probably associated with military accommodation units for Old Buckenham airfield (NHER 9235).
