Summary

This three-storey house is believed to date to 1751, although it has been subject to a series of significant 19th-century and later alterations. It has walls of stucco and colour-washed brick, a slate roof and a mid-20th-century plate glass shop front. A rear extension has a king post roof.

Listing Description excerpt:
"House, now a shop. Reputedly built in 1751, greatly altered in 19th century and 20th century. Stuccoed and colourwashed brick. Slate roof. Three storeys; three-window range. Mid 20th-century plate-glass shop front with a tiled dado...Gabled roof hipped to south, formerly with a dormer. Internal gable-end stack to north.
INTERIOR: all three floors opened out into display suites. Roof of purlins and principals, much rebuilt. Rear extension with king-post roof."
