Summary

This early 19th-century shop with domestic accommodation above is built on the site of a sequence of buildings, the earliest of which is represented by 15th-century brickwork in the cellar. The red brick, three storey plus dormer attic 19th-century building has a late 20th-century plate glass shopfront and canted bay rising through two floors.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Shop. Early 19th-century shop with domestic accommodation above built on site of a sequence of buildings of which the 15th-century brickwork of the earliest remains in the cellar. Red brick under a machine-tiled roof. Three storeys and dormer attic. Two-window range. Late 20th-century plate glass shop front under a prominent fascia board. To the right is a canted bay rising through two floors…Projecting cornice with modillion decoration. Gabled roof with two dormers. No stacks.
INTERIOR: the cellar has patches of 15th-century brick to the south, but there has been extensive rebuilding. Remainder of interior of little interest."
