A possible ring ditch, probably the site of a Bronze Age round barrow, is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (S1). The archaeological origin of the cropmark is not entirely certain, as the area is confused by modern marks relating to agricultural activity and a nearby field entrance. If it does represent an archaeological feature, the location of the ring ditch in close proximity to other larger ring ditches, suggests that it is probably the site of a small Bronze Age round barrow. It is one of several ring ditches identified in this area, which together appear to form a dispersed round barrow cemetery (NHER 49686).
