Summary

Trial trenching at this site in 2016 revealed no archaeologically-significant features or deposits. There was therefore no evidence for surviving sub-surface remains associated with a group of earthworks and vegetation marks visible at this location on aerial photographs (part of a group of potentially medieval to post-medieval remains recorded under NHER 58611). Unstratified finds were limited to two prehistoric flint flakes.
