A 19th-century public house. Known as England's Hope, licencees for this public house have been identified from at least 1851. It was renamed the Marshland Arms in 2004 and was still operating in 2017 but appears to have closed sometime before 2022.

A post-medieval public house. Known as England's Hope, licencees for this public house have been identified from at least 1851 (S1). The pub is depicted as England's Hope on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map (S2) but no building appears in this location on the Tithe map (S3). It was renamed the Marshland Arms in 2004 and was still operating in 2017 (S4) but appears to have closed sometime before 2022.
