Summary

A concentration of heat-crazed flint was observed on the west bank of Mannington Stream, close to its junction with the River Bure. These are likely Late Prehistoric pot boilers.

A concentration of heat-crazed flint was observed on the west bank of Mannington Stream, close to it's junction with the River Bure. These are likely Late Prehistoric pot boilers. Whilst mostly on the bank, some of the flint was observed in the stream. No estimation of quantity or further details of the intensity or nature of the spread were provided.
