Full Description
June 2022. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of groundworks associated with construction of new residential dwelling.
The foundation trenches excavated revealed no archaeologically-significant features or deposits.
No finds were recovered.
Natural deposits were sealed by what appeared to be the remains of a relic topsoil, which was overlain by material thought to represent levelling deposits associated with a building that had previously occupied the site.
See report (S1) for further details.
